01 — CONTEXT & CHALLENGES

Energy suppliers facing new digital challenges

Between market liberalisation and increasing customer demands, energy sector players navigate a complex landscape where operational efficiency becomes decisive.

Energy — business context

Alternative suppliers, local distributors and solar cooperatives face specific operational challenges. Customer portals inherited from the early 2010s no longer meet current expectations for real-time monitoring. Meter reading data management often remains manual, generating errors and delays in billing.

Sales teams lose time on administrative tasks that could be automated. Consumption reporting, where it exists, is limited to monthly Excel extracts that are difficult for end customers to interpret. This situation hinders commercial development and complicates customer relations.

We regularly encounter organisations that have invested in technical solutions but struggle to make them communicate effectively. The challenge lies less with core business tools than with their interconnection and customer interfaces.

Field reality A local supplier recently explained to us: "Our business customers receive their bills 3 weeks late because we have to manually re-enter the meter readings provided by the network operator. It's time-consuming and error-prone."

The field technician records the meter reading on site, then someone re-enters it at the office. Meanwhile the customer calls to ask where their connection stands, and no one can say without opening three applications.

Charging point usage is recorded in the operator’s tool, and billing learns of it at month end through a file. In between, no one knows what a site actually consumes.

02 — STRATEGIC VISION

Our approach: operational efficiency above all

Mastered business processes

We prioritise automation of repetitive tasks and interconnection of existing systems. The objective: free up teams so they can focus on customer support and commercial development rather than manual data entry.

Tools adapted to sector constraints

Each type of supplier has its specific regulatory and commercial requirements. Our solutions adapt to the volumes processed, internal validation circuits and traceability requirements specific to the energy sector.

« Digital transition in energy must serve operational efficiency, not complicate it with unnecessary gadgets. »

Modernising the energy customer experience

In most organisations we support, customers demand more streamlined access to their consumption data and billing history. Existing portals ex

Solar Cooperative: From Manual Entry to Automation

This energy cooperative specialising in photovoltaics was manually managing the billing of its commercial clients. Teams spent two days per month re-entering production indices transmitted by network operators, then calculating invoices individually on Excel. Data entry errors generated complaints and delayed receipts. We automated the import of production data and created a validation workflow. Billing calculations are now performed automatically, with human oversight only for exceptional cases. Measured results after 8 months: time dedicated to billing reduced from 2 days to 4 hours per month, and billing errors reduced by two-thirds.

04 — APPROACHES

From meter to invoice

We connect readings, field work and billing so a grid anomaly triggers an intervention without re-entry, and appears on the right invoice.

Our sector knowledge enables us to quickly identify operational friction points. We understand the regulatory constraints related to meter reading data, complex billing cycles and customer relationship challenges specific to energy contracts.

This field expertise guides us in choosing the most relevant technical solutions for each context. We avoid technological over-investment to focus on what brings immediate and measurable operational value.
