Compliance, where you operate

The platform is the same whatever the country. What changes is the configuration: chart of accounts, tax rates, exchange formats, transmission obligations. We set out France and Switzerland below because they are the two our clients meet most often. For another country the principle does not change: we start from what local law requires, and configure accordingly.

France

Dolibarr produces the Factur-X format natively. Producing that format and issuing a compliant electronic invoice are two different things: transmission to the tax authority goes through an approved platform. We configure Factur-X output and connect your installation to an approved platform. We claim no accreditation, neither for ourselves nor for the publisher.

Switzerland

The Swiss chart of accounts ships with Dolibarr and loads from the accounting configuration, with no development needed. The QR-bill and the VAT return are not part of the core — they are modules we deploy and configure, with your QR-IBAN, your rates and your templates. Your invoices then read correctly at Swiss banks, and incoming payments reconcile on their own.

Each country you operate in is handled on its own terms, with its own rules and formats. You still deal with one person, however many of them there are.

How we work

Scoping what you do today, what the standard covers, what will still need building.
Configuration modules, permissions, numbering, tax rates, document templates.
Data migration customers, products, stock, accounting history, checked before go-live.
Training your teams on their own screens, not on a generic demonstration.
Maintenance updates, fixes and enhancements over time.

Integration in practice

We map what is already there — the files, the unwritten rules, the habits holding it together — before configuring anything. We configure purchasing, stock, production and invoicing, carry the history across instead of starting from nothing, and build the modules your business needs and the standard ignores, as with a training centre ERP or a warehouse management system. Data entered once travels, and the gap between recorded and actual stock becomes visible rather than being discovered at month end.

Around the core we add what your business calls for: bank reconciliation once volumes justify it, a quotation engine where product configuration is involved, a unified HR repository where staff are spread across sites, field intervention management where your teams work away from the office.

How we build is set out on Custom Development, and how we look after what we deliver on Support & maintenance.

The modules we have built around the core

The standard covers a great deal. It stops at a few specific points: those are the ones we build.

Connection to an approved platform

The Factur-X format comes out of the software, but transmission to the tax authority requires an approved intermediary that Dolibarr does not ship with.

Electronic invoicing

Swiss QR-bill and VAT return

The Swiss chart of accounts comes with the platform; these two live outside the core.

PrestaShop and Magento connector

The REST API is there on both sides; the bridge that keeps stock, orders and customers in step is not.

Customer portal

Quotations, invoices and documents the customer can consult directly: nothing of the sort as standard.

Dolibarr after go-live

Dolibarr moves quickly, and its modules do not all move at the same pace. A version upgrade can break a community module you rely on daily. Your connection to a transmission platform follows a regulatory calendar that is not yours to set.

We follow the releases, we replay your modules on a test environment before any switchover, and we carry the regulatory connection on your behalf. BUILD installs Dolibarr; RUN makes it last.
