Investor Portals
In investment property, the relationship with your financial partners still relies heavily upon manual processes. Each quarter, it’s the same ritual: your asset management team compiles performance data in Excel, generates bespoke PDFs for each investor, sends them via secure email, then manages the responses: questions about a calculation, requests for clarification on a valuation, subscription forms to be signed and returned.
A fund with 40 investors easily represents 3 days’ work per quarterly report. Not to mention the telephone calls to verify that a document has been properly received, the follow-ups for missing signatures, and sending errors (wrong document to wrong recipient: it happens, and it’s a confidentiality incident). Your investors expect better.
They are accustomed to checking their bank accounts in real time. They don’t understand why accessing the performance of their property investment requires sending an email and waiting 48 hours.
This solution belongs to the Customer & User Portals family.

Challenges holding back your performance
Current tools do not address this reality. Excel remains at the heart of reporting, but it manages neither access rights nor consultation history. Sharing platforms such as SharePoint or Google Drive quickly become labyrinths where nobody can find the right document. Generic CRMs do not have your quota share, IRR or distribution documentation tools. As for mainstream electronic signature platforms, they work: but disconnected from the rest, they add yet another manual step. The result: your teams spend their time assembling between tools that do not communicate with each other, whilst your institutional investors compare you unfavourably to other managers who are better equipped.
Our Technical Approach
The Clarendis approach is based on a simple principle: each investor should only see what concerns them, calculated precisely according to their participation. Mathematical isolation ensures that the data displayed – returns, distributions, valuations – are dynamically calculated according to each partner’s actual share, without risk of information leakage between investors in the same vehicle.
Financial reporting is no longer a one-off export but a permanent view, fed by your source data (accounting, asset management), with complete history accessible on a self-service basis. The signing of subscription bulletins or regulatory documents is integrated directly into the journey: the investor consults, understands, signs – without leaving the portal, without downloading and then returning a PDF.
The entire system complies with regulators’ traceability requirements (AMF, FINMA depending on jurisdictions) with time-stamping and complete audit trail.

Technical Architecture
Identify the user, let them act on their own, keep them informed: One-Stop Citizen Service Centres and VIP Member Portal work the same way.

Smooth and frictionless integration
The portal connects to your existing tools without replacing them. Your data remains in your accounting system and your asset management tool: we access it via connectors or structured imports. No re-entry, no forced migration. Deployment typically begins with a restricted scope (one fund, one type of investor) before expanding.
Your teams retain their upstream validation processes; the portal only takes over distribution and interaction with the investor.
Investor Portals. Flow Mapping
Analysis of your data sources (accounting, asset management), your investor typologies and your current regulatory obligations.
Configuration of the pilot portal
Deployment on a restricted scope — one fund, 10-15 investors — with connectors to your source systems.
Validation and adjustments
Testing under real conditions over a complete reporting cycle, adjustments to calculations and user experience based on feedback.
Extended deployment
Progressive roll-out to other vehicles and investors, training of your teams in portal administration.

Clarifying your decision-making
How do you manage investors who hold stakes in multiple funds?
Each investor has a consolidated view of their holdings, with navigation by vehicle. Rights are managed fund by fund: an investor present in two vehicles sees only their own data on each, never that of other holders.
Our institutional investors have specific reporting requirements — can the portal be tailored accordingly?
Views and exports are configured by investor category. A German institutional investor requesting an INREV format does not get the same interface as a French family office. That is configuration, not development for each request.
