International Recruitment Agency

A recruitment agency lives on its ability to match a profile to an assignment. That ability degrades with volume: applications arrive through every channel, profiles age, and the same people reapply without anyone remembering.

Context

Applications arrived through the site, by email and by spontaneous submission, each landing somewhere different. A consultant searching for a profile queried their memory before querying a system, and a candidate already met could be treated as a stranger. Interview notes lived in personal documents, assessments in emails, and the history of assignments offered nowhere. The agency’s first problem was not finding candidates — it was finding those it had already met.

Challenge

Unifying heterogeneous applications — formats, channels, levels of completeness — without losing what gives a file its value: interview notes, assessments, the history of assignments offered and declined. And recognising a known candidate on return, without creating a duplicate or overwriting what was known.

Objectives

  • Deliver a site carrying openings and collecting applications.
  • Gather applications from all channels in one tool.
  • Recognise a known candidate on return, without duplication.
  • Retain interview notes, assessments and assignment history per profile.
  • Match a profile to an assignment on explicit criteria.

Applications, profiles and assignments live in the same tool, from first submission to placement. A known candidate is recognised as such, with the history of what was offered.
