Project Corporate website and policyholder managementSector Insurance & Mutual
Context
The public site and the policyholder management system lived apart. A request filed online — coverage change, claim declaration, family situation update — arrived as a message that someone re-entered into the business system. In between: delay and risk of divergence. Administrators spent part of their time transcribing what the policyholder had already written. Endorsements, premium notices and certificates each followed their own path, with nothing linking a document to its file.
Challenge
Connecting a public site to an insurance management system without weakening its integrity: a policy, a coverage and benefits are not modified like a contact form. Every write had to be traced, reversible and compliant with LAMal rules. And LPD requirements extend to peripheral tools: the portal does not escape the framework of the system it feeds.
Objectives
- Design a corporate site able to carry regulatory information and commercial argument alike.
- Connect policyholder management to the internal system, with no intermediate copy.
- Let policyholders file a request, declaration or document that lands directly in management.
- Guarantee traceability of every policy modification and endorsement.
- Attach premium notices and certificates to the file that holds them.
The public portal and the business back office read the same source. What a policyholder views or declares arrives directly in the management system, without re-entry, and every request carries its visible status. Administrators handle files instead of transcribing messages.
