Frequently asked questions

What we are asked most often

Do you build custom software, or integrate existing solutions?

Both, and the choice is made case by case. We start from a catalogue of more than two hundred proven solutions and adapt them to your business. A full custom build only comes in when nothing existing fits — which is rarer than people expect, and always slower and more expensive.

How large does a company need to be to work with you?

Our clients range from sole traders to companies of a few hundred people. What matters is not headcount but how particular the need is: a twenty-person company with an unusual process has more use for a fitted tool than a two-hundred-person one that standard software serves well.

How long does an ERP or portal project take?

Two to six months to go live, depending on scope. A catalogue solution adapted to your business starts faster than a full build. We always scope a first partial go-live rather than switching everything over on the deadline.

What happens to our current tool?

It depends on what it does well. We also work on what is already there — extending it, connecting it, migrating the data. Replacing a tool that works is rarely the right answer, and we say so when that is the case.

Who will our contact be?

One person, from the first conversation to go-live, then for as long as the solution lives. They steer the team doing the work, but they are the one who answers. No call centre, no ticket changing hands.

Do you work remotely or on site?

Both, and the balance depends on the moments that matter. Scoping, training your teams and go-live are better done in person; day-to-day follow-up is faster remotely. We arrange on-site presence when the project calls for it, without making it a default line on the invoice.

What is Clarendis?

Clarendis is a digital integrator for SMEs and mid-caps: we design, deploy and run your systems — ERP, CRM, portals, platforms. We are rooted in France, with in-house teams mobilised as the work requires, and you keep the same point of contact from scoping to operations. That is the BUILD·RUN·LEAD approach: build, run, lead.

What does the BUILD·RUN·LEAD approach mean?

BUILD stands for custom digital solutions engineering. RUN covers operational execution (support, maintenance, evolution). LEAD refers to fractional digital leadership: a part-time digital director to drive the strategy.

In which countries does Clarendis operate?

From France, with teams operating across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. If your project calls for on-site presence — scoping, training, go-live — we arrange it; otherwise it runs remotely, with the same point of contact either way.

Who are the founders of Clarendis?

Clarendis was co-founded in 2017 by Cédric Guittard (CEO, fractional digital leadership) and Anna Hoang (Marketing and Strategy).

How to contact Clarendis?
